Elara Caring is hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support clients at home in Massachusetts. You will provide compassionate personal care, assist with mobility and daily living activities, prepare meals, and help with housekeeping in a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, hygiene assistance.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.

• Provide companionship to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands and transportation to appointments when applicable.

You’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments (when applicable)
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client

Requirements

• HHA certification and/or valid CNA Certification required from the State of Massachusetts
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred (professional or personal experience)
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable personal transportation to travel to client homes
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds)
