Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide to provide one-on-one home care, helping patients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence.

This role offers Delaware, OH pay at $19 per hour, flexible Monday–Friday visits between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, daily pay options, and no required overtime. You’ll support patients with personal care, daily living activities, and companionship in their homes.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of verifiable caregiving or related experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and document notes.
• Reliable transportation to and from patient homes.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily personal care needs (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Help with activities of daily living (light housekeeping, meals, laundry, grocery shopping).
• Provide nutritional support and maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Offer companionship and report changes to the nursing team.
• Follow individualized care plans while delivering compassionate home visits.

As a Personal Care Aide, you will be called to care when you're needed most. As part of Interim HealthCare, you'll provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes, helping them maintain their comfort, dignity, and independence.

What we offer our Personal Care Aides:

• Competitive pay based on location:
  • Delaware, OH: $19 per hour
• Flexible scheduling with visits available Monday-Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. You do not need to be available for the entire timeframe; schedules can vary within these hours based on your availability and patient needs.
• Daily Pay option available.
• No Overtime Required.
• 1:1 patient care in the home setting.

As a Personal Care Aide, you will:

• Assist patients with daily personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Help patients with activities of daily living, such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and grocery shopping.
• Provide assistance with nutritional needs and help patients maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Provide companionship and conversation; even the smallest interaction means a lot.
• Observe and communicate changes in a patient's condition or needs to the appropriate nursing team.
• Follow individualized care plans while providing compassionate, dependable care during home health visits.

To qualify for a Personal Care Aide with us, you will need:

• Six (6) months of verifiable experience in a hands-on caregiving or related role. Qualifying experience may include daycare, cleaning, healthcare, or personal care.
• Previous experience does not need to be within the last two (2) years.
• Attention to detail and the ability to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient's condition.
• Reliable transportation to and from patient homes.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
