Job summary

The Village at LifeQuest in Quakertown, PA is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Aide (PCA) to assist residents with daily living activities, bathing, grooming, and mobility as outlined in their care plans.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid and current CNA certification or willing to complete on-line care giving training once hired.
• Must complete annual training as required by current regulations.
• Must maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
• Must have excellent communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, etc. for residents according to the resident's assessment and service plan (ASP).
• Assist residents with housekeeping and laundry services.
• Accompany residents on outings to medical appointments.
• Assist residents with activities.
• Demonstrate awareness of and sensitivity to the needs of residents and their families.
• Complete documentation of resident service logs, etc.
• Communicate residents concerns and needs to Resident Care Coordinator, Wellness Nurse, and / or Wellness Director.
