Job summary

The Village at LifeQuest in Quakertown, PA seeks compassionate Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide daily living support for residents per ASP. Duties include bathing, grooming, ambulation, and assisting with housekeeping and activities.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid CNA certification or willing to complete online care giving training once hired.
• Must complete annual training as required by current regulations.
• Must maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
• Must have excellent communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, etc. for residents according to the resident's assessment and service plan (ASP).
• Assist residents with housekeeping and laundry services.
• Accompany residents on outings to medical appointments.
• Assist residents with activities.
• Demonstrate awareness of and sensitivity to the needs of residents and their families.
• Complete documentation of resident service logs, etc.
• Communicate residents concerns and needs to Resident Care Coordinator, Wellness Nurse, and / or Wellness Director.
