Job summary

Senior Helpers in Lake Forest, CA seeks compassionate Caregiver to provide one-on-one in-home support for seniors. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, companionship, and help maintain a safe, clean living environment.

Previous caregiving is preferred but not required. You should be patient, reliable, and able to follow care plans, document care, and drive to clients as needed. Training is provided, with paid sessions and growth opportunities within the franchise.

About The Role

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dependable Caregiver to provide one on one care for senior clients in their homes. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, errands, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.

What You’ll Do

ADL Support

• Bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Feeding and meal assistance when needed

IADL Support

• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Laundry and grocery shopping
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Companionship, conversation, walks, and activities

What We’re Looking For

• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and IADLs
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and dependable
• Able to follow care plans and communicate clearly
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Have CPR, First Aid, CNA or HHA certification

Pay & Benefits

• $18-$22 per hour (based on shift type and experince)

Requirements

• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Able to assist with transfers and mobility
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs and lift up to 30 lbs
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Able to pass background check and drug screening
• Flexible availability, including some weekends
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
