Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to support patient care in facilities such as nursing homes and hospitals. You will work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides to provide compassionate daily care and monitor patient needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, checking vitals, and documenting changes. A PA or Personal Care Assistant certification and CPR are required to ensure compliant, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in PA or Personal Care Assistant.
• CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Care for personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities.
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutrition.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document changes.
• Observe patients and notify supervisor of issues requiring changes.

Overview: Full-time 2p-10p with every other weekend required.

Compensation: $22 hourly

Job Responsibilities:

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals.
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.

Requirements:

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in PA or Personal Care Assistant
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Compassionate nature, good communication and ability lift to 50 lbs.
