Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred (6 months).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass background check.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor direction.
• Contribute to monthly new account production targets.
• Participate in in-store prospecting when needed.
• Process deposits and withdraws, balance daily transactions.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base including Spanish speakers.
• Operate computer systems and issue receipts.
• Provide money orders, cashier’s checks, wires, and CDs as required.
• Assist with Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
