Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required or currently attending high school.
• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, provide exceptional customer service, involving receipt and payment of cash, in a high volume sales environment.
• Evaluate relationships and recommend bank products and services to support customer financial success.
• Follow established policies in accordance with bank policy and supervisor direction.
• Achieve monthly new account production targets as assigned by management.
• Participate in an active sales environment that may require in-store aisle prospecting.
• Process deposits and pay out funds, balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks for deposits, verify amounts, and endorsements.
• Examine cash to guard against counterfeit checks and IDs.
• Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier\'s checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services and products.
• Serve a diverse customer base, including a large Spanish-speaking population.
• Perform additional tasks as required by supervisors.
