Job summary

The Universal Banker is an entry-level sales and relationship-banking position at Central Bank. A primary requirement is to actively identify customer needs, recommend Bank solutions and achieve assigned monthly goals.

The role also opens and services accounts and performs day-to-day teller work; however, sales expectations remain the focus. You will initiate conversations, follow up on opportunities and progress toward shared targets.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, assess their needs and explain relevant personal and business deposit products and services.
• Open and accurately document checking, savings, certificates of deposit, safe deposit boxes, IRAs, online banking, debit cards, credit cards and other approved products within role authority.
• Complete account maintenance, research, stop payments, address changes, check orders, funds transfers and other service requests.
• Process teller transactions and balance a cash drawer when assigned.
• Resolve routine customer concerns and involve the Branch Lead or appropriate partner when additional authority or expertise is needed.
• Build knowledge of Bank products, digital tools and business partners to support effective customer conversations and referrals.
