Job summary

BMO is seeking a customer-focused professional in the United States to deliver needs-based financial advice and guidance across banking, lending, and investments.

You will engage existing customers and prospects, assess needs, and tailor solutions while promoting digital channels. The role requires compliance, teamwork, and a drive to grow customer relationships through community engagement.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree desirable.
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations are preferred.
• Knowledge of personal and small business banking needs and solutions.
• Experience in financial services is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver needs-based assessments and advice to grow loyalty and opportunities.
• Identify financial solutions and preferred channels; tailor recommendations.
• Promote digital/self-serve options to simplify banking for clients.
• Support client transactions and build new relationships in the community.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and lending policies.
• Apply risk management framework to protect assets and maintain portfolio quality.
• Make credit recommendations for personal lending, including home financing.
• Collaborate with branch and market teams to achieve business objectives.
• Proactively engage customers, schedule appointments, and promote products.
