Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a customer-focused banking professional in the United States to deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects. You will identify needs, provide tailored financial guidance, and engage across channels to grow relationships and meet business objectives.

You will conduct needs assessments, recommend solutions across everyday banking, investments, lending, home financing, and small business services.

Qualifications

• Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable.
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
• Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions.
• Experience in financial services is an asset.
• Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional service to customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions.
• Engages customers to complete needs assessments and recommend tailored solutions (everyday banking, investments, lending, home financing, small business).
• Offers guidance on digital and self-serve options to make banking easy, simple, and fast.
• Supports customer transaction needs and generates appointments to grow relationships.
• Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory requirements and lending policies while protecting the bank’s assets.
