Job summary

Texas Regional Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to perform teller and new accounts duties in a fast-paced Banking Center in Dallas. You will open/close accounts, discuss documentation, order checks, and handle deposits, withdrawals, and transfers while ensuring accuracy and compliance with CIP/BSA policies.

Mobile-friendly cross-selling and excellent customer service will be essential as you balance cash drawer and support both personal and commercial customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of banking experience in new accounts, teller, or lending.
• Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to type, use a computer efficiently, and use a 10-key calculator.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle large quantities of currency while maintaining accuracy.
• Must be able to work flexible hours Monday–Saturday and at multiple bank locations.

Responsibilities

• Open and close personal and commercial accounts, maintain account records.
• Discuss new account documentation with customers and discuss products/services.
• Order checks and debit cards; prepare documentation for new accounts under CIP/BSA policies.
• Follow up on client and loan officer requests promptly.
• Operate and maintain a cash drawer; process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
• Balance teller cash drawer and prepare daily general ledger entries; perform vault functions as needed.
• Promote and cross-sell Bank products and services; assist customers with inquiries.
