Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year in banking (new accounts, teller, or lending).
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
• Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to type, use a computer efficiently, and use a 10-key calculator.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle large quantities of currency with accuracy.
• Good problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work activities.
• Able to stand for most of the day and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexible hours: Monday–Saturday and work at multiple locations.
• Must be physically present in the bank to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Open and close personal and commercial accounts.
• Maintain accounts; process teller transactions, cash checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers.
• Balance teller cash drawer and prepare general ledger entries.
• Answer phones and provide customer service.
• Promote and cross-sell bank products and services.
• Comply with policies and procedures.
• Work at multiple bank locations as needed.
• Assist loan officers with requests and follow up on client needs.
