Job summary

Texas Regional Bank is seeking a Personal Banker who combines Teller and New Accounts duties to deliver a high-quality customer experience. You will open/close personal and commercial accounts, process transactions, and assist customers with product information.

In this role, you’ll handle deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and balance the cash drawer while maintaining compliance with policies. You must communicate effectively in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year banking experience (new accounts, teller, or lending).
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
• Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to type, use a computer efficiently, and use a 10-key calculator.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work activities.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexible hours Mon–Sat and able to work at multiple bank locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide both Teller and New Accounts services with a focus on high-quality customer service.
• Open and close personal and commercial accounts; maintain account records and process deposits, withdrawals, transfers.
• Cash checks, process deposits, withdrawals, transfers; balance teller cash drawer; answer phones; handle safe deposit entries.
