Job summary

UMB is seeking a Personal Banker to build relationships and recommend financial solutions. You will leverage product knowledge to convert interactions into cross-sell opportunities while meeting customers’ needs.

The role emphasizes sales performance, collaboration with branch leadership, and adherence to banking standards. You will travel between branches, participate in training, and work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in a retail environment engaging with customers and making product recommendations.
• Ability to travel to branches Clinton, Warsaw and Warrensburg.
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days.
• Willingness to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Convert transactions, account maintenance and service requests into cross-sell conversations.
• Create sales opportunities by calling leads and visiting businesses to offer workplace banking.
• Achieve daily performance metrics while balancing priorities.
• Learn banking processes and maintain compliance with standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
