Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Austin, TX is looking for a Personal Banker II to deliver exceptional customer experiences by building strong relationships and recommending financial solutions across the customer lifecycle.

You will use a consultative sales approach, stay current on products, collaborate with internal partners, assess credit data, and uphold the Bank's ethics and risk controls while supporting customers with digital tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 1 year customer service experience, or college degree or equivalent military experience.
• Experience in a sales environment required; experience in financial industry a plus.
• Ability to analyze credit and financial information.
• Exhibits business acumen.
• Demonstrated ability in making sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Create a memorable customer experience by cultivating, maintaining, and enhancing relationships in an assigned book of business through proactive outreach in person, over the phone, or other channels as appropriate.
• Use of a consultative approach with current or prospective customers to uncover and identify their needs while tailoring recommendations/solutions/advice.
• Maintain working knowledge of products, services, and processes offered.
• Work collaboratively with internal partners to ensure customer's needs are met and all problems are resolved.
• Analyze customer credit data and other related financial information to ensure customers are in the appropriate solutions that align with their needs.
• Provide customer support needed reinforcing the value of current and new technology.
• Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies, modeling the ethical behavior expected from every employee within the Bancorp.
• Other duties as assigned.
