Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking candidates for the Retail Personal Banker I program. Selected individuals will complete a 4-8 week onboarding with rotations in operations and Sales & Service.

After graduation, they will perform a Financial Center role focused on consultative sales and building new households or deepening existing relationships. The position involves teller duties, cross-selling, and collaboration with Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, and Investment partners.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and small business customers.
• Understanding of advanced math functions for credit and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process and financial needs assessment to build customer profiles and identify needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions.
• Proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
• Establish relationships with partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) to refer customers.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and revenue goals and contribute to year-over-year growth.
• Provide guidance to CSRs on the sales and referral process.
