Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Personal Banker Associate I in Clinton Township, MI. After a 4–8 week onboarding with rotations in operations and sales, you will train toward becoming a Retail Personal Banker I, using a consultative sales process to assess financial needs and build lasting relationships.

This role focuses on acquiring new households, deepening existing customer relationships, cross-selling bank products, and collaborating with Mortgage, Small Business, and Investment partners.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience with transferrable skills.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to cross-sell to existing customers.
• Knowledge of Retail policies and procedures.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration via NMLS when employed.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales to build customer profiles and identify current and future needs.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products and services.
• Utilize CAMP and approved tools to set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities as directed.
• Collaborate with Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment partners as needed.
• Meet or exceed customer experience and production goals and support the P&L.
