Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is launching a Retail Personal Banker I program in Novi, MI. Selected candidates complete a 4–8 week onboarding with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, plus a certification to transition into the role.

The position uses a consultative sales process to identify customer needs, cross-sell banking products, and build lasting relationships while handling teller transactions and maintaining risk controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or banking preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial needs and advise solutions.
• Strong ethical standards and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales to identify customer financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and cross-sell accordingly.
• Assist in opening/closing Financial Center and banking transactions.
• Build relationships with customers and coordinate with partners.
