Skowhegan Savings Bank in Portland, ME is hiring a Personal Banker to join our onsite branch team on a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, processing transactions, and cross-selling bank products to meet clients’ financial needs.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other routine banking duties while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year experience in retail banking, lending, sales, customer service and/or cash handling.

Aufgaben

• Greet customers and create a welcoming environment.
• Process customer transactions accurately in a fast-paced setting.
• Balance cash drawer and follow bank policies.
• Cross-sell bank products and services using HD Banking techniques.
• Assist with opening new accounts and follow up per HDB procedures.
• Build customer loyalty through exceptional service.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues with appropriate staff.
• Maintain end-of-day activities including branch proof.
• Manage ATM cash handling and deposits.
• Prepare Currency Transaction Reports and comply with regulations.
• Attend training to enhance product knowledge.
• Represent the bank at community events.
• Work Saturdays on rotating schedule.
