Skowhegan Savings Bank seeks a Personal Banker for the Main Office in Skowhegan. This full-time role (37.5–40 hours/week) runs Monday–Friday with some Saturdays and offers hourly pay from 17.25 to 20.00, with growth potential up to 25.77.

The Personal Banker reports to the Branch Manager and delivers customer service while handling deposits, withdrawals, and product referrals. It requires prior retail banking experience and a dedication to building lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (exception for high school branch teller).
• One year experience in retail banking, lending, sales, customer service and/or cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a welcoming, customer-focused environment.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Maintain balanced cash drawer and adhere to bank policies and procedures.
• Cross-sell bank products and services using High Definition Banking (HDB) techniques.
• Assist with end-of-day activities including branch proof and ATM responsibilities.
