Columbia Bank is hiring a Personal Banker in Mesa, AZ to deliver exceptional client experiences and grow a broad range of banking relationships. You will identify client needs, present appropriate products, and refer to partners to fulfill those needs.

A focus on consumer lending opportunities and accurate cash handling is essential. This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and preferred banking experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Teller or banking experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products/services.
• Ability and desire to actively develop consumer lending skills.
• Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, and perform accurate calculations.
• Proficient in expanding the client relationship with emphasis on creating and growing relationships using a personal and business bio/rapport.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client experience following Breakthrough Client Experience Standards.
• Acquire new and expand existing client relationships by identifying needs and offering appropriate products.
• Refer clients to internal business partners when needed and uncover lending opportunities.
• Open Consumer and Business accounts for new and existing clients.
• Provide support to Client Service Specialists and assist with teller functions when needed.
