Citigroup seeks an entry-level Personal Banker SAFE Act in Pinecrest, FL. This role supports sales, products, and services in coordination with the customer service team to foster customer loyalty and increase sales to consumer clients.

The position encompasses handling small business banking needs, cross-selling treasury products, and coaching branch staff. Requires NMLS registration and bilingual preference; full-time in-office role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish Speaking Preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with business credit requests less than $250K, recognize/refer larger lending opportunities and cross sell treasury and related small business products
• Build referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the MGM Program
• Assist in strategies to grow the small business client and implement appropriate sales plans
• Deliver client services/outbound/inbound calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing relationships through cross-sell of products and services
• Provide Tellers and branch staff with coaching on products and programs, identifying client needs and providing referrals
• Recognize transaction needs, educate clients on service and digital channels and present product offers/financial solutions
• Understand and comply with Citibank policies and procedures
• Assess risk in business decisions and escalate control issues with transparency
