Job summary

First Northern Bank of Dixon is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver the highest quality customer service, assess needs, and promote products. This full-time role requires accuracy in transactions and strict regulatory adherence.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and account openings, support branch operations, and work with the team to resolve customer issues while upholding our core values of People First, Absolute Integrity, and Zest for Excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in financial services with cross-sales/new accounts experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Professional and empathetic in all interactions.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Offer superior service to customers through prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional interactions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments and other financial transactions accurately.
• Support branch cash responsibilities including shipment, balancing, and reconciliation.
• Resolve customer complaints and escalate as needed.
• Process debit card requests, stop payments and check holds.
• Open and service Retail, Business, trusts, CD and IRA accounts.
• Comply with banking laws and regulations and bank policies.
• Work cross-functionally to handle complex inquiries and maintain operational integrity.
• Train new and existing employees as needed.
