1stnb in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a teller to deliver exceptional customer service in a high-volume retail banking environment. You will handle cash, process deposits, and support the sales of bank products to a diverse customer base, including Spanish-speaking clients.

The role requires a high school diploma or current enrollment, 18+ age, and ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays. A background check is required and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, high school equivalency or currently attending high school.
• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service, including receipt and payment of cash, in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow established policies in accordance with bank and supervisor guidance.
• Support monthly new account production as assigned by upper management.
• Participate in an active sales environment, including in-store aisle prospecting.
• Process deposits and pay out funds, recording transactions and balancing daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks for deposit, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Examine cash to guard against counterfeit checks and IDs.
• Enter transactions into the computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services and products to customers.
• Provide banking services to a diverse base, including a large Spanish-speaking population.
• Perform other tasks requested by supervisors related to the bank’s functions.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Approval limits will be based on established authority levels.
