FCBI in Texas seeks a customer service oriented Teller to support daily cash handling and deposits in a busy branch. Under supervision, you will process transactions, advise on bank products, and contribute to sales goals while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

The role requires 18+ years, high school diploma, and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates should be team players who pass background checks and can help a diverse, Spanish-speaking customer base.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, high school equivalency or currently attending high school.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass background investigation according to company policy.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service involving receipt and payment of cash in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow established policies in accordance with bank and supervisor direction.
• Aim for monthly new account production as assigned by upper management.
• In-store aisle prospecting may be required in a active sales environment.
• Process deposits and pay out funds, balance each day’s operations.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Guard against counterfeit currency and improper identification.
• Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier’s checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base including Spanish-speaking customers.
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Approval limits based on authority levels.
