Job summary

FCBI is seeking a Bank Teller to provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume branch. The role involves handling cash, processing deposits, and balancing daily transactions while serving a diverse customer base including a large Spanish-speaking population.

Under supervision, you will evaluate customer relationships to offer appropriate bank products, follow policies, and help achieve monthly production goals. Flexibility with evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or current enrollment.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Six months of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass background check.
• Team player who can work with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and handle cash in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and accounts to offer bank products and services.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Contribute to monthly new account production targets.
• Participate in in-store prospecting as needed.
• Process deposits and payments, record transactions, and balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Guard against counterfeit checks and improper identifications.
• Enter transactions into the computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs; process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services and products; serve a diverse customer base including Spanish speakers.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
