Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Two years of financial institution experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service and sales skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Responds to members' requests for information on products and services, conducts basic research on accounts or refers to appropriate person.
• Receives members at teller station, processes deposits, withdrawals, payments and transfers in person, by mail, or by telephone.
• Processes Visa cash advances and loan payments, and updates member address information.
• Opens various credit union accounts, including IRAs, trusts, term certificates, shares and share draft accounts.
• Interviews loan applicants, counsels members on consumer loan options, prepares documents and loan records, and makes sound recommendations to Loan Officers.
• Discloses and funds approved loans; explains reasons if a loan is denied.
• Determines members' financial needs and provides products and services to meet those needs.
