Citi is seeking an entry-level Personal Banker in New York, NY to support sales, service, and relationship-building with individual consumer clients and small businesses. You will help execute sales strategies, cross-sell treasury and related products, and collaborate with the customer service team to deliver an exceptional client experience.

This role emphasizes building loyalty, handling inquiries, and growing the book of business while adhering to Citi policies and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilités

• Work with small business credit requests under $250K and refer larger lending opportunities
• Build referral business through Centers of Influence and MGM program
• Assist in growth strategies for small business clients and implement sales plans
• Deliver client services via outbound/inbound calls to gain new relationships and deepen existing ones
• Coach branch staff on products and programs and provide referrals to clients
• Identify client needs and present product offers/financial solutions across channels
• Understand and comply with Citibank policies, standards and procedures
• Assess risk in business decisions and uphold Citi's reputation and assets
