Job summary

The Citi Personal Banker SAFE Act in New York is an entry-level role supporting sales and service activities in coordination with the customer service team. You will help cultivate relationships with individual consumers to drive loyalty and sales growth.

Responsibilities include handling small business referrals, cross-selling treasury products, coaching branch staff, and guiding clients on digital channels while ensuring compliance with Citi policies. This position is full-time in New York.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in banking, retail, or sales preferred.
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies.
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with business credit requests under $250K and cross-sell treasury products.
• Build referral opportunities via COIs and MGM Program.
• Grow small business client relationships with targeted sales plans.
• Deliver client services via outbound and inbound calls to deepen relationships.
• Coach branch staff on products and referrals.
• Educate clients on service channels and present financial solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Citibank policies and risk management.
