Job summary

OceanFirst Bank in Tinton Falls, NJ is seeking a Full Time Personal Banker to provide personalized service and drive sales at the branch. You will process routine transactions, assess customer needs, and promote banking products and services to meet goals.

This role offers on-site work with training after hire and opportunities for professional growth, including notary services where licensed, and participation in the branch incentive program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years' experience in a direct customer service capacity, with 1-year prior cash handling, preferably in a retail banking environment, teller related experience preferred.
• Prior experience in sales capacity, preferably in a retail banking environment.
• Valid NMLS Registration required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product selections to meet needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments accurately per policy.
• Cross-sell banking products and services to deepen relationships.
• Maintain compliance with banking regulations and branch policies.
• Provide notary services if licensed.
