Job summary

1stnb is seeking a customer-focused associate to operate in a high-volume bank environment in Texas. You will handle cash, process deposits, and balance daily transactions while delivering exceptional service to customers, including a Spanish-speaking client base.

The role involves cross-selling bank products and meeting monthly new account targets under supervision, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends. Safety and teamwork are emphasized in daily operations.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, high school equivalency or currently attending high school.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Achieve monthly new account production targets as directed.
• Participate in an active sales environment, including in-store prospecting.
• Process deposits and pay outs, balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Identify counterfeit items and verify identification.
• Enter transactions into the computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier\'s checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base (including Spanish speakers).
• Perform tasks requested by supervisors related to bank functions.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Approval limits based on authority levels.
