Job summary

Peoples State Bank in Rhinelander, WI seeks a Personal Banker to guide customers toward smarter money decisions. You’ll open new accounts, recommend bank products, complete transactions, and support consumer lending while partnering with the Branch Manager to drive sales and service.

Your day includes follow-ups, conversations, and occasional teller duties; you’ll work Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM, bring a high school diploma, 1–3 years in banking or customer service, and a sales mindset focused on

The Personal Banker Gig

As a Personal Banker in Rhinelander, you’re the go-to guide for customers who want their money to work a little smarter.

You’ll:

• Open new accounts and support customer with clear next steps
• Recommend fitting bank products and services based on customer needs

• Guide customers through the consumer lending process

What you bring:

• Strong communication, follow-up, organization, and comfort with technology

Your Day, Naturally

Your Monday–Friday, 8–5 rhythm starts with a look at what’s on deck—follow-ups, new conversations, and a few “can you help me with this?” moments. You’ll spend the day bouncing between the lobby, your desk, and the phone, keeping things moving and keeping people comfortable.

Some customers come in with a simple request; others want help sorting out bigger decisions. You’ll listen, ask smart questions, and make sure they leave with a clear plan. In between, you’ll coordinate with the Branch Manager on progress toward the bank goals, and you’ll occasionally hop onto the teller line when the pace picks up. Expect plenty of variety—and plenty of chances to make someone’s day easier.
