Job summary

Peoples State Bank in Stevens Point, WI, is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the retail team and keep customer service front and center. This role exists to drive branch performance, grow relationships, and maintain smooth daily operations.

You will oversee staff selection, training, coaching, and performance; open new accounts and handle customer service needs; originate, underwrite, and close consumer and home equity loans. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive banking experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; math proficiency.
• Ability to lead and coach a retail team; familiarity with the local market.
• Proficiency with MS Office and general computer skills.

The Branch Manager, Recharged

As Branch Manager in Stevens Point, you'll guide branch performance while keeping customer service front and center. This role exists to lead the retail team, grow relationships, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

• - Oversee branch management, operations, and local promotion

Required qualifications/skills:

• - High school diploma/equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's preferred
• - 3+ years of progressive banking experience
• - Team leadership experience (formal or informal)
• - Strong written/verbal communication; solid math skills
• - Proficiency with MS Office and general computer skills
• - Ability to spot market opportunities and create growth programs
• - Familiarity with the local financial marketplace

Between greeting familiar faces and meeting new ones, you'll keep an eye on service quality and step in when a situation needs a calm, friendly leader. You'll also carve out time to connect with the local market-watching trends, brainstorming outreach ideas, and keeping the branch visible in the community.

By day's end, you'll feel good knowing the branch ran smoothly, customers were taken care of, and the team had your support.
