Job summary

Arbor Financial Credit Union is seeking a part-time Personal Banker in Otsego, MI, to deliver friendly, expert service and tailored financial solutions. You will support member banking needs including accounts, loans, and digital banking in a collaborative environment.

The role offers advancement within a multi-department structure and a wage starting at $19 per hour, based on experience, with generous benefits and flexible scheduling to accommodate student classes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years’ experience in banking/financial services.
• Strong communication/interpersonal, attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and basic computer operation.
• Professionalism in conduct, communication, and appearance.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities based on member needs.
• Bonding capability may be required.
• Preferred: Fiserv DNA; Associate or Bachelor’s degree (business/finance or related); Lending knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with members to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate products/services.
• Open and maintain various account types, such as checking, savings, IRAs, and trusts.
• Assist members with transactions, loan applications, and account inquiries, debit card replacements, online banking, and direct deposit letters.
• Educate and support members in using digital banking tools and services.
• Resolve account issues and debit card disputes efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support branch operations through clerical tasks, balancing duties, and participation in audits.

Is This You?

Hours: Flexible schedule 24-28 hours per week, with one Saturday off each month
