Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Biloxi to provide companionship and daily living support to residents in a senior living setting. The role includes assisting with ADLs, light housekeeping, and engaging residents in activities to promote wellness and happiness.

Flexibility is required to cover weekends and holidays. CNA certification is preferred but not required; CPR/First Aid is a plus, and prior experience with older adults is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Provides companionship and support to residents.
• Assists with activities of daily living as needed (bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.).
• Requires flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Assist with dining and keep residents engaged and happy.
• Report changes in health status and complete daily data sheets.
• Assist with activities to promote wellness and safety.
• Collaborate with leadership to provide quality resident care.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Biloxi

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
