Job summary

The Blake at Miramar Beach, operated by QSL Management, is seeking a Personal Assistant/Caregiver for the night shift (7p-7a) to support residents in a resort-style senior living community in Miramar Beach, Florida.

Responsibilities include companionship, daily living support, light housekeeping, and helping residents participate in memory and wellness activities. CNA is preferred but not required; CPR/First Aid preferred. Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have caring heart with willingness to serve others.
• Experience with older adults preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid, preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides companionship and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Reports changes in health status and records progress on data sheets.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Performs light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Assists with dining as needed and keeps residents engaged.
• Supports assisted living and memory care residents to promote well-being.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Miramar Beach.

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.


• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.


• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.


• Light housekeeping and laundry.


• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.


• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others


• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent


• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement


• CPR/First Aid, preferred


• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays


• Experience working with older adults preferred
