Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant/Caregiver for a 12-hour day shift (7a–7p) at The Blake at Miramar Beach. Your duties include companionship, daily living assistance, reporting health changes, and helping residents stay engaged and comfortable in a resort-style setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• CNA certification preferred but not required unless state requirement.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Be flexible to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience with older adults is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and activities of daily living for residents.
• Report health changes and complete daily data sheets.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Assist with dining and feeding as needed.
• Engage residents in activities to keep them happy and supported.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Miramar Beach

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
