Job summary

The Blake at Colonial Club in Harahan, LA is seeking a Personal Assistant to support assisted living and memory care residents with companionship, daily living activities, and engagement. This role emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork in a resort-style senior living environment.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED; CNA certification is preferred but not required unless state rules apply. CPR/First Aid preferred, and weekend/holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides companionship and activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.).
• Reports changes in health and status and completes daily data sheets.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership.
• Engages residents with activities to keep them happy and engaged.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for The Blake at Colonial Club

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements
