Barclay House of Oakleaf Village in Lexington, SC, seeks a compassionate Personal Assistant to support residents in an assisted living setting. You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, engaging environment for seniors.

Ideal candidates show empathy, strong communication, and reliability, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays. CNA is preferred but not required; CPR/First Aid is a plus.

Formación

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification preferred but not required unless state requires.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsabilidades

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for Barclay House of Oakleaf Village

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required unless state requirement
• CPR/First Aid, preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Experience working with older adults preferred
