Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant for Barclay House of Rock Hill to support residents in an assisted living setting. The role emphasizes companionship, daily living activities, and health status reporting as part of a caring team.

The position requires flexibility for weekends/holidays and experience with older adults is preferred. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and CNA certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• CNA certification preferred but not required unless state requirement.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports residents with companionship and activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Reports changes in health/status and records progress.
• Assists with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed.
• Engages residents in activities to keep them engaged and happy.

We are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for Barclay House of Rock Hill

Primary Responsibilities of the Personal Assistant:

• Supports our assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening and activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assists residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
