Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Attorney General’s schedule to ensure punctual attendance at all meetings and events
- Maintain and update the official’s calendar, in both manual and electronic formats
- Oversee the budget of the Attorney General’s Secretariat, as applicable;
- Receive, review, and respond to correspondence as directed
- Liaise with SAA for VIP arrangements when the Attorney General is going on an overseas mission.
- Organize correspondence and prioritize information based on importance;
- Take dictation and draft official correspondence on behalf of the Attorney General.
- Respond to phone calls and address inquiries
- Conduct and compile research in preparation for an upcoming event;
- Ensure the Attorney General is consistently well-prepared for meetings, with all necessary and relevant information;
- Prepare meeting documents and materials
- Attend to members of the public and business professionals on behalf of the Attorney General;
- Prepare reports, take appropriate action when necessary, and keep the Attorney General well informed;
- Prepare and plan official events;
- Serves as a confidant to the Attorney General;
- Prepare the relevant forms and documentation pertaining to the overseas mission.
Keep abreast of organizational issues and maintain a good understanding of the organization’s aims and objectives, as well as a thorough knowledge of the various government functions. Perform any other duties arising from shifts in responsibilities or situations related to the Attorney General’s portfolio.

Minimum Qualification & Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration or Public Relations or Management or Social Science related Degree plus five years post qualifying experiences; OR;
- Diploma in Business Administration or Public Relations of Management or Social Science
