Job summary

Sittercity Incorporated is seeking a caring nanny for a Wyomissing family. The role involves full child care for two children aged 10 months and 8 years, with a schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and flexibility for 3–4 day weeks.

Responsibilities include meal prep, family laundry, light housekeeping, and homework help; there is a healthcare stipend and paid vacation. Location is Wyomissing, PA.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (family is flexible if candidates need a 4:00 p.m. end time or prefer a 3-4 day per week schedule)

About the Family:

This loving family is looking for a nanny who brings warmth, initiative, and calm to their home. The older child is endlessly curious, drawn to math, science, and hands-on experiments, and just as happy diving into Minecraft, Pokémon, or a game of tag outside. The younger child is an eager, fast-moving explorer with a curious, unbothered nature, always on the move and enjoying playful moments like tickles.The ideal candidate is flexible and even-keeled rather than high energy. The family believes in setting boundaries with the children in a clear and calm manner, meeting the children where they are. The older child does best with a caregiver who is genuinely interested in their hobbies and comfortable with a bit of quirkiness. Experience supporting a child with additional developmental needs is a strong plus for this family.

Compensation:

• Pay: $25-$35 gross
• Paid Vacation: 3 weeks (half nanny choice, half family choice)
• Paid Sick/Personal: 5 days
• Paid Holidays (if on a working day): 6 major federal holidays
• Healthcare Stipend: $200-$300 monthly
