Jimmy John’s in Dayton, OH is seeking a Shift Lead to manage daily operations during a shift, ensuring fast, friendly service and adherence to company standards.

You will supervise crew, assist with opening/closing procedures, handle cash, coordinate deliveries, and maintain high quality food prep while working ahead of busy times. This is a full‑time hourly role with benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work evenings, holidays, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer receives world‑class customer service.
• Route deliveries and serve drivers to maximize delivery business and speed within the four walls of the restaurant.
• Complete and oversee daily food preparation (opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing, bread production).
• Complete and oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness; complete daily paperwork as necessary.
• Responsible for 100% of the cash drawers at all times during the shift.
• Display a sense of urgency in all tasks.
• Willing to work evenings, holidays, weekends as business dictates.
• Establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
• Handle and resolve customer threats and issues.
• Handle stress and a high‑volume enterprise.

Job Location: Dayton, OH 45459

Salary Range: $14.00 - $17.00 Hourly

Job Summary

Shift Leads run a shift, but do not have authority over other employees. The Shift Lead’s job is to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and to confirm that operational standards are maintained at all times during their shift.

Responsibilities

• Route deliveries and serve drivers to maximize delivery business and speed within the four walls of the restaurant.

• Ability to work independently and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle and resolve customer threats and issues.
• Ability to handle stress and high-volume enterprise.
