Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Persian/Farsi Instructor at the Offutt Language Learning Center in Bellevue, NE to teach adult professional students and develop language training materials.

You will provide language, cryptologic, and cultural training to military forces and civilian personnel via classroom instruction, materials, and digital learning.

Ideal candidates hold ILRT level 3+ in Persian/Farsi with advanced English, a relevant degree, and 4+ years of related experience; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• ILRT level 3 or higher in Persian/Farsi with advanced English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Persian/Farsi, applied linguistics, or language teaching preferred.
• 4+ years of related experience (8+ years without a degree) or associate degree plus 6+ years.
• At least 1 year of language or instruction experience.
• Expert knowledge of Persian/Farsi including speaking, grammar, phonology.
• Instructional Systems Design experience preferred.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide global language, cryptologic, language, and cultural training to military forces and civilian personnel.
• Develop and integrate new training materials and curriculum for approval by US Government.
• Adapt instructional methods to meet student goals and time constraints.
