Job description

A successful Permit Supervisor shall be responsible for identifying, procuring, and ensuring compliance with governmental and non-governmental permits. This includes preparing pole applications and ROW permits for approval by the permitting authority. The role requires cross-departmental coordination with city, construction, engineering, GIS, and field departments. The candidate should have a good working knowledge of telecommunications network design, proficiency in ARCGIS and other office-related equipment, familiarity with telecommunications design software, and the ability to read, interpret, input, and analyze data.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Ability to work safely, with or without supervision
• Strong data reading, understanding, interpretation, input, and analysis skills with high accuracy
• Ability to coordinate activities, organize workloads, and prioritize duties
• Creative and strategic thinking abilities
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with critical thinking ability
• Ability to read and understand highway/road prints
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Manual dexterity and ability to work seated for extended periods

Responsibilities include:

• Managing processes effectively to ensure completion of work assignments
• Participating in the implementation and maintenance of processes or procedures
• Communicating with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers to support assigned projects
• Supporting data interpretation and analysis for projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 4 years of related experience
• Proficiency with office hardware and software (PCs, tablets, printers, copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, background, and motor vehicle record checks
