Job summary

CPH, a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm in Florida, is seeking a Permit Coordinator to manage the full permitting process across multiple jurisdictions from Lakeland. The role emphasizes accuracy, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive risk management to meet client expectations.

The position requires extensive knowledge of Florida permitting processes, strong communication, and experience coordinating with agencies and project teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of permitting processes, land development, zoning regulations, and environmental compliance.
• Detail oriented, reliable and self‑motivated.
• Excellent oral, written and organizational skills.
• Experience in permitting and project coordination.
• Experience within the AEC industry or professional services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, track, and manage permit applications.
• Coordinate with agencies to ensure compliance with permitting regulations.
• Monitor permit requirements and timelines to ensure approvals within project schedules.
• Maintain permit trackers and project records.
• Research and interpret local and national permitting codes, land use regulations, and building ordinances.
• Ensure all permitting documentation is accurate and aligned with regulatory standards.
