Job summary

CPH is seeking a skilled Permit Coordinator to manage the full permitting process across multiple Florida jurisdictions, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely approvals. This role requires strong communication, cross-functional coordination, and excellent time management in a multidisciplinary environment.

Based in Miami with openness to Tampa, Lakeland, Sanford, or Jacksonville offices, the candidate will track submittals, engage with AHJs, and maintain meticulous project records to support

Qualifications

• Knowledge of permitting processes, land development, zoning regulations, and environmental compliance.
• Experience with permitting and project coordination in AEC or professional services environments.
• Proficiency in Office software and permitting platforms (Accela/ePermits).

Responsibilities

• Research AHJ requirements for permits, plan reviews, inspections, fees, timelines, and submittal formats.
• Prepare, submit, track, and manage permit packages across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, construction, and client teams to resolve AHJ issues.
• Maintain permit trackers, jurisdiction databases, and project records.
• Identify risks early and ensure teams understand submittal requirements.
