Job summary

Milrose Consultants, LLC is seeking a Project Manager, Permitting to join our Project Delivery team in Bohemia, NY. You will manage permitting projects, maintain project records, and ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes across the Long Island region.

Travel to local municipalities and AHJs is required as needed. We look for 2–4 years in construction or permitting, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong organizational and communication skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in the construction or permitting industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, urban planning, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Experience working with municipal permitting processes and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as backup to the Senior Project Manager, tracking milestones, filings, permits, approvals, and occupancy updates.
• Manage projects end-to-end with quality control, timely deliverables, and accurate records.
• Review new projects, gather information, and prepare municipality applications (filings, permits, objections, variances).
• Facilitate team communication and provide guidance or training to personnel.
• Attend city/jurisdictional meetings and represent the company professionally.
• Collaborate with design/development teams and interpret plans and construction documents.
• Assist with project-related accounting, billing, and reporting.
