Job summary

Arizona Foundation Solutions is seeking a Permitting Technician in Tempe to support our Permitting and Logistics teams by coordinating permit processing, maintaining project documentation, scheduling activities, and guiding project readiness from permit issuance to final inspection.

You will serve as a crucial link between municipalities, customers, field teams, inspectors, and internal departments to keep projects compliant and moving smoothly through the construction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with municipalities and permitting processes preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Valid driver's license for occasional permit runs.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Gather and organize closeout paperwork and inspection reports.
• Assist with documentation for final inspections and closeout.
• Run permits to municipalities for submissions and final inspections.
• Maintain permit trackers and project notes with statuses.
• Follow up on permit-related items with municipalities and teams.
• Upload and organize permit documents in company systems.
• Ensure permit files are complete and accessible.
• Support Scheduling with customer confirmations.
• Verify project readiness including permits, inspections, and site access.
• Maintain trackers, reports, and logistics documents.
• Communicate project updates clearly with stakeholders.
• Provide timely updates on permit progress.
• Contribute to living the company's mission and values.
